What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file with information stored on your computer when you visit a website (or on a corresponding device with internet connection such as a tablet or mobile phone). Cookies are used to help make webpages work more efficiently but also to provide certain information to the owner of a website. For example, they may deal with language choices or other preferences saved to facilitate the website visitor’s next visit. Cookies make it possible to distinguish different users from each other, which in turn may provide each user a more positive experience of the site.
Types of cookies
There are two types of cookies, permanent cookies and session cookies. Both of these cookies are used on the Insatt website. Permanent cookies are stored as a file on your computer for a certain amount of time, until you on the website itself or the server that sent them erases them. Session cookies are stored temporarily while you are browsing a webpage, and is removed when you close the browser.
Insatt.com also has cookies for calculating and reporting user numbers and traffic. We also use so-called third-party cookies from other companies to conduct market research and traffic measurements.
